<p>In conjunction with the Edward Hopper exhibition currently at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Lamson Library invites our users to learn about the artist and his works.  A display of select resources is in the Reference Area on the Main Level of the Library.</p>
<p>The MFA exhibit will run throughout most of the summer until August 19, 2007.<br />

Vonnegut, a World War II veteran and author of such books as Slaughterhouse-Five, was the voice of counterculture during the 1960&#8217;s and 1970&#8217;s.  Norman Mailer called him &#8220;our Mark Twain.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kurt Vonnegut died last month in New York City at the age of 84.  Read one <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/629620.stm">obituary</a> on his life and accomplishments.</p>
